Tulsa police say 14-year-old crashed into truck and gas meter
TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa firefighters say two cars are totaled after a crash into a gas meter causing 21st Street to be shut down near Nathan Hale High school.
Several firefighters are out working to clean things up with debris spread across 21st between Memorial and Sheridan.
Tulsa police tell us a 14-year-old was driving the car that hit a truck making an illegal U-turn.
TPD say the 43-year-old woman in the truck was not wearing a seatbelt and is now in critical condition.
14-year-old driver hits truck and gas meter in Tulsa
Officers at the scene say the teen driver was going around 90 miles per hour when the truck, then the gas meter were hit.
That teen is expected to be OK, but police say they are looking at charges.
